IAGA specifies three types of memberships: Regular, Associate and Affiliate.

Regular Members are executive directors or chief executive officers (or equivalent) of national, state, regional, provincial or district amateur golf associations.

Associate Members are employees of associations eligible for IAGA Regular Membership.

Affiliate Members are employees of national and international golf associations including managers, professionals, superintendents and other golf related professions.
